PEARLS welcomes Photographer Anna-Marie Janssen (@annamariejanssen) to the project. Anna-Marie, born in the Netherlands spends most of her childhood in a small town called Tongeren Belgium, far removed from the bustling excitement of the world. Throughout her upbringing, she often felt a sense of displacement, unaware of the possibilities awaiting her in the realms of photography and surfing.
Drawn to various forms of art at a young age, she eventually finds her identity in Photography. Diving in to the fashion side of things and eventually making this her profession. To Anna-Marie photography is the gateway for beautiful connections, opening worlds and discovering new cultures and ultimately herself.
5 years ago she discovered surfing and realized that the peace it brings, this form of play and pure joy together with a soft community was something she was missing. That's something she realised in the island of Siargao where she meets Archie Geotina (@chichimonsta), the artist behind PEARLS 
( @thepearlsproject.online ) who eventually invites her to be part of it.
